Taanishi, tânisi, way̓!
Welcome to our new website. I'm not sure why I decided to re-brand and re-design our website during the busy summer, but here we are. Thank you for your patience as we re-built!
Tansy Trading started in 2021, and we really never imagined how we would grow. We both have an interest in sourcing traditional, old style, and specialty materials, and thought other people might be interested in them too. We are also both avid crafters so we thought a trading post might be a fun idea to share our work along with our materials.
Fast forward to 2026, and we have grown a lot. Both as artists, and as a "small business". We're honestly not profitable at all, and are really just in it for the love of the game.
Anyway, thank you for coming on this ride with us! And we hope you enjoy the new site.

P.S. TT fun fact: the name Tansy is named after the flower, and we thought it had a fun similarity to tânisi/taanishi.
