Smoking hat

This smoking hat features antique and contemporary seed beads, steel and copper cut beads, vintage calico lining, melton wool, and home-tanned hide ties. 

The hat measures approximately 25" around and 3.5" deep. 

*Please note the beadwork design was drawn on with a flour paste, which leaves a white residue which may be seen around some of the beadwork. This is a historically accurate technique, and evidence of remaining flour paste can be seen on many heritage pieces in museum collections. This can be washed off if desired.

** There is another small flaw where a corner of heat and bond got stuck on the rim. This is not very visible from the front but may impact your decision. The hat is not perfect, as it was a first attempt at recreating a heritage item; therefore, it is priced accordingly. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
