Antique Steel Cut Beads - 11/0-12/0
We are thrilled to share a few strands of antique steel cut beads we found. These have passed the magnet test, and better yet are in a size close to contemporary size 11/0 seed beads, unlike the more common micro-beads. These faceted beads have been out of production since WW1 and have always been highly coveted for use in floral beadwork. Their high price meant that they were used sparingly to add a light catching glimmer to the tips of leaves or edges of petals.
